The
Jelly Beaver (or Eager Beaver) came across
my desk recently, and in the spirit of research,
I thought Id give it a test drive and
let you know what I thought about it. Its
a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
The
Jelly Beaver is a vibrator which is phallic
shaped and is designed to stimulate you vaginally
and clitorally. Its a flexible vibe
with a beaver shaped appendage that stimulates
the clitoris directly. You can control the
speed of the vibration along with the speed
of the rotation. Did I say rotation? Yes,
I did. Because it is flexible, you can bend
it. I have to admit, when I first popped in
my batteries (3 AA) and tried it out, the
rotation feature didnt impress me. That
is until I realized that you could decide
upon just how much rotation you want by bending
the shaft. A 90-degree rotation is probably
not going to work for most people (there just
isnt enough room in there). However,
it was interesting to see the Eager Beaver
accomplish this feet, and provided me with
quite a laugh as my boyfriend fainted at the
though of his body going through those contortions.
While
the overall length of the Jelly Beaver is
around 9, the actual dildo portion is
only 4 ½. I also liked the fact
that the controls were right there at my fingertips.
I did use a bit of lubricant, and a water
based one is suggested for this toy.
I
also liked the fact that this jelly vibe was
quite firm, so I could easily move it in and
out without feeling like I was playing with
a soft penis. Because it is bendable, it was
easy for me to maneuver it into a position
to easily touch against my g-spot. When straightened
out a bit and the twister action turned on,
it caused a different type of stimulation
to my g-spot rather than the standard in and
out stroke does. Partner play with this toy
worked well, as he could easily manipulate
the controls and the movement of the vibrator.
Also,
in vibration mode this toy is almost silent
set at the low speed, and just a bit louder
if set on high. When you add the twisting
function, the noise raises up another notch.
My
main disappointment was the clitoral stimulation
portion of the toy. I was not dissatisfied
in what it does, because it does offer a great
vibration for the entire vaginal region. But
for my body, the clitoral stimulator did not
line up with where my clit is; therefore it
didnt quite hit the mark. The length
of the clitoral stimulator is around 1.
I did find that it helped if I used my hand
directly on the beaver part of the toy to
better directed where I wanted the stimulation.
Also, when you have all of the functions working,
it seems to be a slight strain on the poor
batteries. High vibration alone is a lot stronger
than if you have high vibration and twister
action going at the same time. One more note
is that the cover for the batteries may easily
slide open if you are being quite enthusiastic
with it.
Overall,
I think this is a great toy for someone who
wants vaginal (g-spot) and clitoral stimulation
at the same time. My suggestion would be to
closer inspect your body to make sure that
the clitoral stimulator will give you exactly
as it promises. Also, Id suggest that
if youre going to use this toy with
a partner you not show them the 90-degree
twisting action.
