This
review is really a trip down memory lane for
me in so many ways. The first vibe I ever
purchased was a bullet vibe and that was more
years ago than I care to admit. Of course
that vibe is long since gone but I've really
only replaced it a couple of times which really
speaks volumes and is one of the reasons that
this vibe will always remain a perennial favorite
in my toy box.
I
admit there are two reasons why the bullet
was my first ever vibe. I was introduced to
the wonderful world of sex toys at a friends
home when she held a sex toy party. It sure
opened my eyes and was a lot more fun any
Tupperware party I had ever been too. I brought
the bullet because it was cheap and because
it was small. The thought of have a nine inch
realistic looking penis delivered to my door
by my friend, whether it was in a brown paper
bag or not, was just too daunting a prospect
to face back then.
So
a couple of weeks later when the order was
fulfilled, and after checking that all the
doors and windows were locked, the curtains
were drawn and there was absolutely zero chance
of be being caught of course, I ripped open
the brown bag and stared in horror at the
egg like thing that stared back at me. I really
didn't have a clue how this thing worked but
I knew it needed batteries and a few minutes
later, I had them in place. It was at this
point I remember what the hell had possessed
me to buy such a thing but like most things
in life that I've purchased I had and I might
as well give it a whirl.
A
few embarrassed moments later and the bullet
was nestled where no man had ever been and
at that time was ever likely to go. For a
women who had always let her fingers do the
walking in the past, the sensations that little
egg sized object produced were simply putting
amazing. I had no idea that this would feel
so good and after a short time, I wondered
why the hell it had taken me so long to discover
that toys were not just for kids. What normally
took me around 15 minutes to achieve manually
took a few short but estatic moments with
my new toy and I've been something of a toy
convert ever since, in fact it wasn't long
after that I began hosting toy parties myself.
Since then I think I've experimented and used
the bullet every way that you ever could.
It can also be inserted and I still enjoy
doing this today. If I lie on my stomach on
a cushion I can now use it to hit my g-spot
which gives some pretty intense sensations,
although to be fair this does take some practice.
So
what does my first toy experience have to
do with this review? Well I'll let you into
a little secret, some 20 years later I still
love my bullet vibe. I maybe married but that
doesn't stop me playing with this toy and
Hubby enjoy it as well. Because it's small,
it's easy to place it between us when we are
doing the horizontal tango, and it still hits
the right spot every time for me.
The
bullet may have the reputation of being one
of the oldest toys out there but it's effects
are just the same. As a starter toy for someone
who has never encountered one, it can be a
great accompliment to any sexual experience.
It doesn't look like a penis, so for a guy
whose never encountered a toy before it's
less intimidating than many of the toys that
are available today. It's also quiet and nowadays
there are many variations of it. There is
for example the pulsonic bullet, which makes
my eyes light up every time it makes an appearance
in the bedroom. The I Vibe is another popular
variation as is the triad and there are now
dildo's such as the Bobbie Sue that can be
used in conjunction with the humble bullet
vibe to create something completely different
again. Of course if you are used to the all
powerful electric vibes then the bullet might
seem a little tame, but inserted while you're
using an electric vibe and you get a whole
new set of sensations.
I
very much love the good old bullet vibe and
I doubt that it will ever go out of fashion
because it is simply so versatile and so inexpensive.
If you've never dabbled in the world of sex
toys before then this I can personally recommend
this as a great starter toy and that won't
break the bank at under $15, which is even
better in my book.
