Question: When is a Pyrex glass dildo not just a dildo?

Answer: When it is a vibrator as well!

Yes Virginia it's true, not only can you know have a glass dildo to add to your collection, you can have one that vibrates as well.

Anyone who has read my reviews on my ever growing collection of glass toys knows they are fast becoming a staple part of my toy diet, so when XXXGlass came out with the new blacklight vibrator, I couldn't resist. So a few days later my favorite Fedex man arrived with my new Pyrex baby intact and it wasn't long before I was delving through the well wrapped package with enthusiasm to find my new toy.

Like all the other glass toys I've received, this came in it's own protective safety pouch and although I knew this was colored I didn't expect it to be quite the vibrant blue it was. Think Caribbean water blue here and you're about right. The blacklight was actually smaller and slimmer than many of my other glass toys but that seemed like an advantage here as I began to examine it. It's actual measurements are 6.5" x .1.25" and like all of the glass toys it has a nice weighty feel to it. Powered by 2 AAA batteries I was skeptical that this would kick out enough power to really satisfy me, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise as I turned the blacklight while holding it in my hand.

Like many vibes it has a control on the base that you rotate in order to vary the speed. What did surprise me was the intensity of the vibrations it delivered and all the way down the shaft not just at the tip. Another surprise was how quiet this was, although when I thought about it I don't know why that was a surprise because double glazing works on the same principal when it comes to sound proofing a room. This is really quiet compared to many of the vibes I've tried in the past. I decided at this point my hand had had enough attention for one day and it was time to take this to another level.

Solo Play
If I'd been impressed by the vibrations on my hand then I was amazed by them when it come to my clit. Whooooo now this was fun!! Being able to vary the vibrations on a vibe is always a plus and because this wasn't a long shaft it was a doddle to operate by myself. Also because the vibrations were spread throughout the entire toy but dulled a little as they traveled down the main shaft I could vary the intensity by simply moving the shaft up and down the various parts that were meant to be caressed.

Used as a simple dildo this had the same properties of all the glass dildo's I've used in the past and I love the feeling of the hardness and smoothness they offer. Of course when you add in the vibrations you are taking this to a whole new level. Powerful and when used inside of the vagina wonderful. I soon discovered if I angled this upwards when inserted it nicely hit my pelvic bone and the sensations were simply divine, tilted the other way my g-spot received some of those heavenly vibes.

Partner Play
This was a big hit with Hubby as he also liked the fact that the blacklight was quiet and yet powerful. It also wasn't too heavy which is a serious plus when you are holding it for a while. For him the vibrations we pleasant and intense enough to be used on him and had a visible effect -)) He also enjoyed watching as he used it on me and when it came to doing the horizontal tango I found by using just the tip on the outside of his anus I sent him into orbit, the same was true if he used it on mine as all fairs in love and sex in this household.

What It All Add Up To?
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, XXXGlass has come up with another winner in my book. I love multi purpose toys and this definitely fills that gap and a few others. It's quiet, strong vibrations are a definite plus and although there is no such thing as a silent vibe this comes pretty darn close especially on the lower settings. It's smaller size also makes it an ideal introduction to the world of Pyrex glass toys.

If you're looking for something a little different, that is built to last and can offer something a little out of the ordinary then the blacklight vibe is worth looking into. If you haven't figured it out by now if the blacklight had been a man I would have fallen in love -)) It's strong, dependable and rigid in it's beliefs that my pleasure is paramount and I bet there's not a women who can say they don't look for that in anything that is remotely attached to sex. This is a definite keeper in this toy reviews box of tricks!
