impressions:
These oils actually looked tempting when I
first pulled them out of the box. Even though
they come in small 1oz plastic bottles they
were by no mean unattractively packaged. Hubby
and I had been looking for something sensual
to try out for a while so we were pleased
when we found these. When we ordered them
we chose them because they were flavored but
hadn't realized that they were supposed to
get hot when they were rubbed or blown on.
Oh the possibilities...
One thing we learned a while back with flavored
products was to never blindly trust that they
would in fact taste anything like the flavor
they were supposed to. So before we applied
them anywhere we did our own taste test. While
it is a lot more fun than wine tasting, you
can never guarantee that we wouldn’t
end up spitting anything out. Gingerly we
began to taste the, just with the tip of our
tongues. I have to say we were both surprised
to find these were on the whole pretty good,
as you can see from the chart below:
Passion Fruit: Oh yeah, bring on the passion.
Pina Colada: Oh yeah, tastes just like coconut
with a hint of pineapple
Strawberry: Yet another in the Yum department.
I think this was definitely my favorite.
Cherry: Another yummy here.
Watermelon: Yuk. This didn't taste anything
like watermelon, to be honest.
Cinnamon: We really didn't like this as it
was really spicy, but if you like spice then
it might be more your cup of tea.
Another thing that is always a good idea to
try with oils and especially flavored ones
is a sample test on your skin to make sure
you don't react to them. Of course this also
gave us an excuse to try out the rub and blow
test but only on a small area for the moment.
As I liked the strawberry we began with that
and applied it to a small test area and I
have to tell you that when you rubbed it,
you really could feel it warm up. It wasn't
an unpleasant warm, more like someone applying
a warm face cloth to your skin. Blowing on
them also had the same effect. Oh yeah, I
liked these already. We decided to try something
else that night and leave the test patches
to make sure we didn't react to them before
going for a full massage the following evening.
The Test
Since no nasty rashes appeared, the following
evening we set aside some quiet time for some
fruity flavored fun. After a brief agreement
as to who would massage who first, I lay down
and waited as Hubby warmed the oils in his
hands first. Whoopee these felt good even
before he began rubbing them in and blowing
on them and licking them and anything else
he seemed to be able to think of to test them.
Whatever he did felt good. It wasn't long
before we were wondering if the oil felt this
good on my skin when he rubbed or blew on
it, what effect would it have if we put it
on some more delicate areas of my body.
The short answer is out of this world!! These
take oral sex to a whole new dimension, at
least from a female point of view. We never
did get quite as far as trying it on Hubby
as I got a bit excited and decided it was
time for something other than foreplay. This
in itself brought about an added bonus: When
we were making love the oily reside slipped
from my delicate parts onto Hubbies and added
yet another cool sensation to the whole love
making experience. As the friction between
us grew so did the sensations of warmth and
sent both of us into warp drive. The warmth
made Hubby harder and me, well, I was definitely
not on this planet. We didn't use a condom
with these, but they are latex compatible,
so that shouldn't be a problem.
So, What's it all add Up To?
Even though we are not likely to use the two
flavors that we weren't keen on, these were
well worth the money in our book. I've used
them when playing solo also, as the warmth
they add can bring a new dimension to masturbation.
They really did light our fire and there was
no nasty, lingering aftertaste that we've
found often happens with flavored products.
Another plus was the fact that they were absorbed
into the skin easily and any that did fall
off onto the sheets washed out easily.
The Midnite Fire Oils were a product that
lived up to its claims and made a great addition
whether I was playing alone or with Hubby
when we were in the mood for something different.
They do actually go a long way and although
they won't take you around the moon and back
down to earth, they will certainly put you
on another planet. They would also make a
great gift to surprise your lover with, just
remember to do the sample skin patch test
before you use them for the full works.
