Okay,
so I exercise a bit more than that but not
much, and my idea of exercise is a night of
pure passion in the bedroom, which actually
burns off plenty of calories and adds up to
a lot more fun than pounding the streets,
in my book. When Hubby and I first looked
at the Luvseat’s website, what intrigued
us was that the seat resembled an exercise
bench, so we set about getting ourselves one
to try.
It
wasn't long before our new toy, well actually
it's more like a piece of furniture, arrived
at the door. The box wasn't light but that
was a good sign as we've discovered it generally
means quality. After unpacking the contents
we were presented with 4 pieces which quickly
and easily slotted together.
Although
it was heavy and sturdy, it was easy to move
and included the option to bolt it to the
floor if we'd desired. We decided against
the last option as we soon discovered that
the Luv seat is solid enough and stays put
no matter how much of a workout we decided
to put it through.
As
we explored the options that the now assembled
Luv seat gave us, our anticipation grew. Basically,
what makes this so easy to use and so different
from anything else we've tried before is the
ease at which it allows a couple to change
positions. Both of the Luvseat’s legs
work via a set of gas powered springs much
like those you get on an office chair, and
because both legs have the ability to rise
or fall, the possibilities are endless as
far as positions go. Add to that the fact
that you can easily change the position of
the seat back to either recline or be upright
with the simple pull of a lever. This gives
you an even greater range of positions, all
achieved with ease.
If
like Hubby and myself, you are equal in all
things but height, you realize just how difficult
those extra couple of inches can make certain
positions. We both love rear entry, for example,
but we rarely indulge simply because of the
height differences between us make this position
uncomfortable. I also enjoy the position where
I can put my legs over my lover’s shoulders.
Again, not easy to achieve anywhere other
than in a hot tub, and we don't own one -((
So, again this position is a rare occurrence.
But not any more though, as the Luvseat allowed
us to easily achieve these positions with
just the adjustment of a couple of levers.
The
Luvseat did take some getting used to, but
that was part of the fun - learning which
lever we had to pull to bring Hubby or I into
a certain position. The other great thing
was that this was comfortable sex. No matter
which of us was on top, neither of us felt
uncomfortable, and trust me when I say we
got into some strange positions with the Luvseat’s
help. Some I wouldn't recommend but were none
the less fun to try.
Another
advantage the Luvseat has over the bed is
that it's easier to stay close to your partner
during lovemaking. The seat itself is extended
at one end so if Hubby needed a break he could
sit down and still stay inside me and at times
we would simply sit and rock back and forth
before doing some more aerobic activities.
Anyone that has read our previous reviews
knows that Hubby and I also enjoy watching
the action when we are making love. Again,
the Luvseat wins over the bed. Because of
the different angles we could achieve it was
easier to watch ourselves in certain positions
and in some cases actually take photographs.
The
only negative we could find was that we would
have liked to have had somewhere for me to
place my feet when we were in certain positions,
but I'm sure this is something that the makers
are working on.
What's
it all add up to?
The makers of the Luvseat apparently put three
years of thought into this unique piece of
sexual apparatus and it shows. You don't have
to be a gymnast or contortionist to achieve
different positions and angles anymore because
the Luvseat makes things easy, and more importantly,
comfortable. Not only did the Luvseat make
sex fun, it had the added advantage of making
it comfortable and the Luvseat itself was
stylish enough that we left it assembled in
the bedroom and ready for whenever we felt
in the mood.
This
is definitely our kind of exercise bench.
The only weight we've used near it is our
own, and yet we are both more fit and our
workouts are a lot of fun. We can't recommend
this product enough. While it's not cheap
to buy, it is an investment in the future
as far as we are concerned. I suffer from
arthritis of the knee, and certain positions
are extremely difficult for me to maintain
for any length of time when we use the bed,
but the Luvseat eliminates that problem. The
makers claim that the biggest majority of
their customers are generally middle aged
and although we might not quite be there yet,
we are certainly no spring chickens. We can
see us using the Luvseat for years to come,
and that's not something we can say for many
of the toys and products we have reviewed
in the past.
